Blue Systems® Waste to Energy

BLUE SYSTEMS® self-propelling system converts any carbon containing (carbonaceous) material into a synthesis gas (syngas) composed primarily of carbon monoxide and hydrogen, where the carbon causes the hydrogen to be separated from water.

BLUE SYSTEMS® differs from the electrolysis systems currently being used by other organizations, as our conversion method of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), negates the need of expensive and potentially unreliable gas clean- up technology, and has no restrictions in the use of any type of biomass, solid or liquid residues.

History of Steam Reforming

Steam Reforming was first developed in the 1920’s in Germany to solve the shortage of fuel and energy. BLUE SYSTEMS differs from the tried and tested Fischer Tropsch system in many ways. Firstly, we use waste where they use wood & coal. Secondly, the steam injected into the converter is 600’c double the 150-300’c used now. Our process has been refined and instead of the old two stage process we now use only one to produce the hydrogen in a much more efficient manner

Steam Reforming Advantages

No formation of toxic organic chlorines such as dioxins and furans

Minimising the consumption of natural resources

Reduces the demand of land for waste disposal

Uses wrapped waste bales that do not rot or smell

Prevents pollution. and ecological degradation

Securing ecologically sustainable development

Steam Reforming

The chemistry creates the destruction of dioxins and other chlorinated hydrocarbons at medium temperatures and, the suppression of de novo formation at lower temperatures.

In the steam reformer, the required process heat is introduced through a patented indirect heating technology uitilising a portion of the product gas generated, as opposed to electric heaters in current hazardous waste thermo chemicals conversion plants

The systems rums autonomously.
